These are FAQs. There are many like them, but these ones are ours.


So, who are TeamRock?

We Are TeamRock! We are a new company that brings together the people that ran Classic Rock, Metal Hammer and Prog with other experienced rock music media professionals - people who brought you Rock Radio amongst other things.

Everyone involved is a rock and metal fan and we are determined to give this tremendous global community a shared home to enjoy the music and lifestyle you love - somewhere to Belong.

Is my data safe?

Yes! We recognise that the quickest way to kill the whole idea of our community is to be reckless or unsafe with your data. We'll be keeping it locked away using industry standard tools.

Am I going to be spammed?

No. You control how we contact you and how often. Of course we don't want you to miss out on things like discounted tickets for gigs near you, so we hope you'll want to hear from us.

Will TeamRock sell my data on?

No. You control your information and who can contact you. We work with carefully chosen third parties - mostly companies that advertise in our magazines - and if you give us permission we'll share their message with you. But if you don't want that we won't tell you. TeamRock exists to only work with partners who are relevant to the rock and metal community so we'll never give your details to someone to offer you something random for example.

Print Subscriptions

What’s my subscription number?

You’ll find your magazine subscription number on the cover sheet that comes with each issue. Providing this will help us deal with any enquiries you might have.

Can I cancel my subscription?

How long will it take for my first magazine to arrive?

Your first print issue will arrive within 6 to 8 weeks.

I have a problem with the covermount CD or DVD.

If the solutions in the Covermount CD section do not solve your problem, please send an email to and include as many details as you can, including the magazine name and issue number. We will then do our best to help solve the issue.

Digital Subscriptions

When will I be able to access my first digital issue?

Your first digital issue will be the most recently published issue.

Is the Digital Magazine available for all tablets?

Currently our digital magazines are only available for Apple iOS and Android devices.

Do I get CD content with digital editions of TeamRock magazines?

Due to current copy and licensing restrictions, we are unable to provide a digital audio version of the CD with digital editions of magazines. As such, the retail price of the digital editions sell for a reduced price in comparison to the print editions which include the CD covermount.


Why can’t I play trivia?

There could be a number of issues blocking you from playing trivia. Below are some common instances, and what steps can be taken to fix them: Play limit reached – certain challenges have a cap on how many game sessions can be played within a specified time limit. This can vary for each trivia challenge, but feedback should be given by the system regarding your play limit Unable to play as guest – certain challenges require you to log in with your TeamRock ID before participating. These challenges often have prizes awarded, and do not allow guest sessions.

If no feedback is given, and you are unable to start a trivia challenge, please attempt clearing your browser cache, and try playing trivia again. On occasion, a corrupted browser cache may interfere with trivia challenge serving.

Video/Audio questions come across as choppy

Slow internet connection speed could be causing issues with content serving. We recommend having a connection speed of at least 300 kb/s to enjoy rich media trivia challenges.

Can I play trivia on mobile?

Yes, our trivia games have been designed for a mobile, and desktop experience.

TeamRock Radio

How can I listen to TeamRock Radio?

A. You can listen to TeamRock Radio with our app or on the desktop version of . At the very bottom of each page you'll see our radio player. You can use our radio player to listen to TeamRock radio whilst browsing our website and then just leave this tab open to keep listening whilst browsing other websites in other tabs.

You can listen via an internet radio device. Connect your internet radio to your network. If it has a password, enter that. Once connected search for teamrock, add the channel to your favourites and crank it up!

Should your device not find teamrock and you have a web portal for the device, add either of the following URLs.

TuneIn (Best for mobile devices) - If you're using a mobile device (like a smartphone or a tablet) then we recommend using the TuneIn App to listen to TeamRock Radio. You can also listen to TeamRock Radio on TuneIn using your PC or even using selected connected devices such as smart televisions.

iTunes - You can listen to TeamRock Radio through iTunes. Open iTunes on your computer and go to MUSIC > INTERNET > HARD ROCK / METAL then scroll down the list until you find TeamRock Radio.

You can also listen On Demand.

Why do you want me to register?

To give you full access to the artists you love. Joining our community means you can build your profile over time, so we learn what you love and hate, so you can find new music and get close to the music that defines you already. We want to bring you news, features, interviews, music, video, merchandise, games, tickets and so much more on your computer, your mobile, your tablet or in person at our events. You'll also be able to interact with like minded people as you discover more than you ever imagined in rock and metal!

I registered to the website with my email address, why can’t I see all of the articles?

TeamRock+ is a new paid for section of the site, which is separate to the main free registration section

I’ve registered, now what are you going to do with my information?

We’ll treat your personal data with respect and only use it to bring you information, articles and media that you’ll love. We’ll also be able to offer you exclusive deals and cool stuff we think you’ll like. You are completely in control of the data that you share with us, and we will only use it or share it if you give us your permission to do so.


What's happened to the old website?

We’ve been working hard to improve our websites so we can give you the best possible browsing experience we can. We hope that you‘re enjoying the multimedia content easily and having a great time doing it!

What browsers do you support?

Our website has been built to work best in the latest version of the most popular desktop and mobile browsers. Older browsers should also work well but some elements of the site may not appear fully as intended.

What payment methods do you accept?

Currently we accept credit or debit card payments. You can opt to auto-renew your membership for greater savings and peace of mind.

I have signed up for a free trial and my card has been charged £1

Some card issuers will take a small amount of money and refund it shortly after as part of their verification process. You can just ignore this charge.

None of these answers solve my problem, what do I do now?

Covermount CD

My disc is missing, damaged or broken

If the disc is damaged and will not read at all, or you have bought a magazine and the disc is missing, please email making sure to include the following information:

  • Your name and full postal address, including the country and any postal codes.
  • The magazine name and issue number.
  • Information about where you purchased the magazine.

A replacement will then be sent out to you and should arrive within 28 days.

The disc will not read/just spins in the drive

Check the data surface of the disc for damage or blemishes – try using a soft dry cloth to gently wipe in straight lines from the centre to the outer edge. If the disc is still not working correctly, place the disc on a flat surface – if there are any gaps between the disc and the surface then your disc may be warped. If there are no gaps but the disc is not working, the disc may be corrupt.

If the disc interface only partially loads, or there is a lot of drive activity but very slow loading times, then your drive is having difficulty reading the disc. This could indicate a problem with either the disc or the drive; if possible, try the disc in another machine to verify the problem.

Contact making sure to include the magazine name, issue number, your full postal address and information on where you purchased the magazine and a replacement will be sent to you.
