Metal Hammer Golden Gods 2017: Live Blog

The Metal Hammer Golden Gods 2017

It’s that time of year again, guys! What is essentially Christmas for metalheads – the Metal Hammer Golden Gods! Coming to you live from the IndigO2 in London, Chris Jericho is hosting the 15th annual award show, and he’ll be joined by four live bands throughout the night. Yup, we’ve got Orange Goblin, Avatar, Clutch and the almighty Mastodon closing the show.

Oh, and some of the best names in heavy metal picking up some coveted Golden Gods. We’ve already announced that Tony Iommi will be picking up the prestigious Golden God award on behalf of Black Sabbath, but you won’t believe who else we’ve got turning up.

Stay up to date on all the action with the live blog below. We’ll also be streaming the show on Facebook Live, so keep an eye out when the awards start.
