Win the ultimate Joe Bonamassa prize

Classic Rock and the Mascot Label Group are celebrating the release of Joe Bonamassa's new album Different Shades Of Blue on September 22 by offering you the chance to win an incredible prize:... two VIP tickets to one of his shows in London, where you'll meet Joe backstage and be presented with a signed guitar by the man himself. We'll even put the winner up in a hotel.

Since winning the Breakthrough gong at the Classic Rock Awards in 2009, Joe Bonamassa has gone from strength to strength, and new album Different Shades Of Blue album is comprised entirely of original tracks (apart from the opener, a version of Jimi Hendrix’s Hey Baby (New Rising Sun).

“I decided I wanted to make a completely original blues album”, says Bonamassa. “I’ve really had to push myself to make everything I do better than the last project. I know the fans expect it.” The album is released on September 22 and can be pre-ordered now.

The material was co-written in Nashville with Jonathan Cain of Journey, Dwight Yoakam collaborator James House and songwriter Jerry Flowers. “They really inspired me – having access to really great lyricists and songwriters made it such a great experience,” the guitarist says.

To enter the competition, all you have to do is answer a question asked by Joe himself. The first of these is already online, and he’ll be asking more as the competition progresses, giving you further opportunities to enter… and increasing your chances of winning!

We’re also giving you the opportunity to ask Joe questions. Just aim a tweet at @ClassicRockMag using the hashtag #AskJoe, and we’ll collect the questions and put them to Joe during a Twitter Q&A on September 22.
