Metal takes on metal on tonight's Hammer Radio Show

As Grand Magus like to remind us, in the end it's steel versus steel, which is why tonight we're proving our mettle (and metal) by playing our favourite songs that celebrate the majesty of the hard stuff – from gold and silver to steel and iron.

Tune in for only the best from the likes of Stone Sour, Manowar, Grand Magus, Accept, Hammerfall, Anthrax, Sammy Hagar and Chris Cornell.

Also on tonight’s show we’ll be talking about Nicaragua. News has reached us that officials there have appealed for witnesses to a meteorite strike that left a 12m-wide crater near Managua’s international airport. Residents reported a loud boom as the meteorite crashed but scientists said no-one had come forward who had seen the streak that a speeding space rock would score across the sky. Weird, huh?

But this got us thinking… what’s the single most loudest thing you’ve ever heard? Bands don’t count. Wilding was spooked by an exploding petrol station, and Milas got chills from an overhead bomber plane, what’s yours?

Tune in to Team Rock Radio online or on DAB tonight at 9pm.
