Linkin Park cancel shows on medical grounds

Linkin Park have cancelled two scheduled shows after frontman Chester Bennington broke his ankle.

The band were due to play in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania tonight and in Albany, New York tomorrow. But the shows have been pulled on medical advice.

Linkin Park went ahead with last night’s gig in Indianapolis, but doctors say the injury now requires “immediate attention.”

Bennington says: “I need to take the proper time to assess the severity of my injury and apologise for any disappointment this has caused. I look forward to seeing you all again soon.”

Fans are advised to seek refunds on their tickets from the point of purchase.
