Paramore thank fans for saving band's future

Paramore have thanked fans for supporting their three-year “self-titled era” – and say their future looks bright as a result.

Hayley Williams and co launched their fourth studio album in 2013 following their split with co-founders Josh and Zac Farro in 2010.

Now the band report: “It feels right to bring the era to a close. We’ve had a very personal and hugely triumphant journey. Thank you to anyone and everyone who made the album a milestone in Paramore’s career, and in each of our lives.

“We started this journey desperate for any sort of future at all. Now we’re standing taller, more confident, knowing that we are the ones who write our own future. This means you too.”

The band will deliver a run of small US shows to mark the end of the album cycle. They explain: “Each night will be a little event – a celebration. As we acknowledge the past few years of everything we’ve been through together, we’re also looking forward together at all there is to come.”

Paramore’s first Writing The Future show takes place on April in Georgia and and the last will be in Oregon on May 25.
