Blink-182 tease fans with studio clip

Blink-182’s bassist Mark Hoppus has shared a clip of drummer Travis Barker playing a new track.

He uploaded the clip of his bandmate to Instagram, with a caption: “Tracking drums for a song that didn’t exist this morning.”

Blink-182 announced last month they’re working with producer John Feldmann for their seventh album. The former Goldfinger frontman has previously worked with All Time Low, Panic! At The Disco and Black Veil Brides.

Barker previously said: “The goal is to just write – we don’t put a limit on how many songs. When we feel like there’s an album ready, there’s an album ready. No pressure, no deadlines.”

The pair are working with Alkaline Trio’s Matt Skiba, who replaced Tom DeLonge after he fell out with his bandmates in early 2015.

DeLonge said in September he was “totally willing and interested” in rejoining Blink.

The follow-up to 2011’s Neighborhoods is set for release later this year.
