Rob Reed’s Kiama announce live shows

Kiama, the band featuring Magenta mastermind Rob Reed, have announced a handful of UK shows.

The group also featuring Andy Edwards from Frost*, Luke Machin of Maschine and The Tangent and Dylan Thompson from Shadow Of The Sun will play an intimate show in Stourbridge on February 27 ahead of a pair of dates supporting Frost* in June.

The gigs have been set up in support of their Sign Of IV album, which was recently released

Reed says: “We’re really excited about performing the album live. We recorded Sign Of IV in the same room, so we know the songs work in a live set up.

“The album has only been out a few weeks but we’ve had a really positive reaction, so we’re looking forward to taking Kiama live.”

Frost* vocalist and keyboardist Jem Godfrey has also remixed Kiama track Cold Black Heart from Sign Of IV. Hear it below.

Reed continues: “Jem has been really supportive of Kiama and did an amazing remix. Jem and the band were keen to bring something musically different to the table.”

Tickets for the Stourbridge show are available from the band’s website, while passes for the Frost* gigs are out via The Merch Desk.

Reed hopes to release his latest solo album Sanctuary II in April.
