Issues dedicate track to victims of police violence

Issues have made their track Blue Wall available to stream.

The song is lifted from the US outfit’s upcoming album Headspace, which is out on May 20. And the band have dedicated the track to “victims of overzealous police violence past and present.”

Bassist Skyler Acord adds: “I gotta give props to Michael Ryan and Tyler Carter for having the courage to write and sing a song like this.

“It’s an issue that hits closer to home for some Americans than others – and it matters that the ones with the mic care enough and have the balls to represent a point of view that in mine and AJ’s community may be common and tends to be very divisive in others.

Blue Wall represents all of us and means a lot to me.”

Frontman Tyler Carter says: “Blue Wall is not a call to riot or disrespect law – it’s just a cry for the awareness of injustice in our system and our government.”

Issues will head out on the road later this month in support of Headspace, which is available for pre-order.
