Items and objects relating to Pink Floyd are to feature in an upcoming exhibition titled You Say You Want A Revolution: Records And Rebels 1966-70.

It’ll get underway at the Victoria And Albert museum, London, on September 10, and along with Floyd memorabilia, the exhibit will also feature a range of items from the era.

A statement from the museum reads: “This major exhibition will explore the era-defining significance and impact of the late 1960s, expressed through some of the greatest music and performances of the 20th century alongside fashion, film, design and political activism.

“The exhibition considers how the finished and unfinished revolutions of the time changed the way we live today and think about the future.”

Also included will be Wes Wilson’s The Acid Test poster from 1966, the Andy Warhol-inspired Souper Dress, images from the 1969 Woodstock festival, Lewis Morley’s famous photographs of Christine Keeler and a psychedelic poster for a London show by The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown from 1967.

Tickets for You Say You Want A Revolution: Records And Rebels 1966-70 cost from £16 and are available now directly through the Victoria And Albert website.

In 2013, the museum held a David Bowie exhibition featuring a collection of handwritten lyrics, original costumes, fashion, photography, film, music videos, set designs, Bowie’s own instruments and album artwork from the Bowie archive.

The film titled David Bowie Is, which was based on the exhibition, was released across the UK last month.
