Frank Iero And The Patience have cancelled the remainder of their 2016 tour after they were involved in a bus accident last week.

The former My Chemical Romance guitarist was unloading the band’s van with other crew members in Sydney, Australia, on Friday when a vehicle crashed into them. Two men were rushed to hospital and another was treated by paramedics at the scene.

Iero updated fans on Twitter, saying: “Hi friends thanks all for the well wishes. We’re pretty banged up but miraculously alive and in stable condition. I’m still in a state of shock.”

But due to the injuries, they’ve scrapped all previously announced live dates for this year, which included an extensive run across the US.

A statement reads: “Due to the severity of injuries sustained in Australia, Frank Iero And The Patience will be cancelling all future performances in 2016. All tickets will be refunded.”

The band are still scheduled to head out across Europe in February.
