Slayer are preparing to hit the road one last time

Kerry King’s wife Ayesha says that her husband will continue to make music following Slayer’s final tour.

The thrash giants announced the first leg of their farewell tour yesterday, with King, Tom Araya, Paul Bostaph and Gary Holt lining up 26 dates across North America.

The band plan to “do one last concert tour around the globe to thank their fans for all of their support over the years.”

And in light of the news, Ayesha posted an image of Kerry on Instagram, saying: “Kerry just heard the news about Slayer’s farewell tour! He sprouted horns!

“He says not to worry, you’ll always get music from him.”

Tickets will go on general sale from 10am local time on Friday (January 26) via the band’s website, while a full list of Slayer’s North American tour dates can be found below.

They’ll be joined on the road by Anthrax, Lamb Of God, Behemoth and Testament.
